I have complaints from customers which try to upload pictures for their listings, but they end up with a blank page (screen) and no uploaded images, why ?

First, in Admin Area -> Application Setup you can specify "Upload boxes amount".

We recommend to allow no more than 5 boxes because users
using low speed internet connection can get timeouts uploading many large pictures at once.

Second, dial up users (using low speed internet connection) can have page timeouts uploading even one file (photo, image) if it has big size (e.g. pictures from modern high resolution digital cameras). In this case please recommend your customers to resize their images to lower resolution (like 640x480) and upload after this.

Third, if you're having problems uploading large files but small files go through fine (and you have root access to the server used), here are some things to try:

- In php.ini, be sure you've set the the upload_max_filesize and post_max_size to be large enough to handle your upload.
- In your httpd.conf (if you're using apache), check that the LimitRequestBody directive isn't set too low (it's optional, so it may not be there at all).
